FNT at Sea Services Ltd successfully performs resonance study of 42 pumps onboard 3 ships.

For five days one FNT engineer was working under pressure in order to deliver timely resonance analysis of 42 cargo pumps and condition report of 96 rotating machinery onboard 3 tankers. The workload was not only heavy and demanded due to ships operating strict schedule but also the pace of the work had to be fast since measurements had to be contacted and analysis to be performed for multiple operating conditions of each pump, different tank levels due to system stiffness changes and different motor speeds.

There were cases at which the engineer had to work at night in order reliable measurements to be contacted. Final machinery condition reports and resonance studies were delivered within 7 days after data collection.
